Script to help with remote website setup

I created a script to assist with setting up a remote website. I had a hell of a time getting mine setup. It is fairly primative. I welcome any feedback or suggestions. I figured after a lot of refinement it might be worth to add to the main project.

Did you read the documentation on how to install and configure a remote website? If so, was it useful?

Hey @EricClaeys, I did follow the instructions but there are a few gaps. I am familur with Linux but its not something I tinker with on a regular basis. The instructions don't include things like setting up the webserver or the permissions. Granted most of it is google-able. The script was my attempt to simplify the setup and eliminate some issues for people. The permissions issue was particularly sticky issue and I've seen a few people having issues with it here. I'll work on submitting some edits to update the documentation. I just figured automation is always a good thing.

In a future version I plan to automate (hopefully most of) setting up a remote Website. That would include copying all Allsky source files there, and if the user has a local Website, optionally copying the images.

It's outside the scope of Allsky to tell people how to set up the server, although the documentation mentions a few things. Allsky assumes the user has a working web server that just needs the Allsky Website installed.

What permissions are you referring to?
