Where will the "final" camera be? In the current location or on a pole above the buildings? Can you swap lenses to see if you like it that way better? Don't forget you can crop the image if you don't want as much black border or buildings showing. |

Hello Folk....
So, I thought I'd start a second Allsky science project compare with my current 1st project..
My first Allsky build was based on a Pi4b, 4GB mem, 64GB SD card, and the camera is a ZWO ASI224MC
My second build I just got up and running is pretty much the same as the 1st only difference is 8GB mem, and the camera is the Raspberry HQ, with the Arducam 180 degree fisheye lens
I'm not sure which setup to go with, with regards to image... I sort of like the ASI224 picture, since it appears to be cropped more... I do like the 180 degree view of the RPi HQ image thou...
The ZWO image isn't as clear as the RPi image only because I currently don't have a dome covering the camera..
Both Allsky systems are sitting side by side currently in the back yard, so from a location stand point there's no difference there...
I've attached pics of the images I'm currently getting from the two systems .. let me know what you guy's think as too which one I should go with..
Thanks
