Are you generating the time lapse using your your 178 in bin1? Just wondering as my pi3 fails with bin1 so I image bin2. If yours is working in bin1 I'll put a pi4 out instead of my pi3. Thanks, |

Hello, I use binx1 for both, daytime and nighttime images. My experience is positive, even it takes a few minutes in the morning to generate timelapses. my only concern is the SD card size - I use a 32 GB card but it will not cover the 14 day period. Either I will extend to a 64 GB or reduce the 14 days. BTW I tried the binx2 but this didn‘t work. I have not tested this in deep, maybe this would need a camera reboot. Can you switch to binx2 and its working? Best wishes, |

With my Pi 3 Model B+ Revision 1.3 (1 GB), I have to use bin2 or timelapse generation fails. I think I will change out my pi3 with a pi4 this weekend. I have a 128g card waiting to be used. It is good to know the 4GB ram version will work. Thanks, |

Hello,
first, thanks to this great site & teamwork - it was (rather) easy to setup the Allsky camera.
I have used a Pi4 + ASI178 - and still trying to improve cabling etc..
The box is on top of my roll-on/off-observatory - located 49.63°N 8.76°O.
