Excellent plugin. Only thing that is missing for me are some more functions to generate links:

links to ten (or so) consecutive pages

Something less trivial, but definitely very useful (this involves sorting on a key value as well):

Ability to generate alphabetic indices (based on a title or a keyword, whatever)
