Hi there, I started testing duplex communication between 2 powerful Windows laptops on the local network for now. I first tested sending webcam data back and forth. Everything working fine. I will put the scrips I used in case you notice some other mistakes I am doing. PC1 Then I tested sending and receiving data from OBS via Spout Now I am trying to figure out how to also send audio data. I tested this and it seems to work, sending a sample wave from testcard: PC1 But I tried PC1 These are the available audio capture devices: And these are the available audio playback devices: BTW, is there a better option for audio playback devices instead of portaudio? Thank you!! |

Hmm.. I've been using Max to send out commands and just tested via cmd and it seems to work actually. So one question remains. Is using -s portaudio and -r portaudio the best option or is there some other option that I didn't figured yet? Thank you!! |

When doing May I ask what this is? I can just add -N, but I am still curious. I am still struggling with networking and google is not that helpful. Thank you! |

OK. portaudio as well as wasapi are working with the continuous version. :D I had no idea about its presence. I was using v1.6 this was causing all the problems. One problem remains related to audio. I finally got to test in separate rooms and it easily creates feedback loop noise simply from the sound coming out of the speakers looping back to the mic of the same pc. I will search the Discussions here to see how people managed this. |
