change modifier key to space key?

can you add space key to modifier key?
if so,i will use it like spacelauncher that is a switcher app on macOS

can you explain in more detail how it will work with the space key? What happens if i need to use space normally inside a text editor?

Sorry using space a modifier key is currently not possible. This will only be possible by using low level keyboard hooks. It want to avoid this (all key inputs would be filter by fastwindowswitcher all the time). Only if more user will request such keyboard combinations i will reconsider this again.
