Looking at that sales chart I think that the MG4 Electric deserves much more love. Its module-less battery with CATL cells is amazing and MG trust it soo much that in Thailand it now has unlimited warranty. This video provides a good summary up of its capabilities. |

Some software and mechanical issues may have given bad press to the MG4. A better screen as seen in cheaper Chinese cars could help to improve interior perceived quality. |

Thanks for the update. Fast charging stations becoming bigger and better in French highways can’t hurt EV sales. For example this one came online this summer with twenty five 400 kW chargers: |

July 2024 - Citroen ë-C3 delayed in France
July’s auto sales saw plugin EVs take 20.8% share in France, a drop from 23.3% year-on-year. BEV share was roughly flat YoY, while PHEV share fell. Overall auto volume was 126,037 units, down by some 2% YoY. The Renault Megane took the lead in the BEV rankings.
July’s market tally saw combined plugin EVs take 20.8% share in France, comprising 13.5% full battery-electrics (BEVs), and 7.3% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). These compare with YoY figures of 23.
