This Discussion should act as a little to-do list for social media changes and opportunities we'd like to improve. It's a decent spot to discuss without adding some form of task tracking app.

• Channel name restructuring
  Channels are starting to feel a little unruly. With all podcast events on hiatus, it could be a good time to re-order rework them. @BenDMyers had a really great idea of splitting general channels and topic channels. the general channels could be reduced to much shorter names now (for what's happening rn), yay (for celebrating achievements), job, etc. there is an extreme version that has only 3-letters. that feels fun but possibly untenable. would love to discuss this with ya'll.

  Worth noting Discord really doesn't offer archived channels in a meaningful way. So if we remove or merge channels, that data will be lost.
