MG1/2 - MGS2/3 pixalated... Correct behaviour or not (2.3 pre release) #115
Comments
Go into the game's launcher setting and make sure all resolution options are set to Default/Original. |
I confirm that it works, However MG1/MG2 still look weird. |
I was playing Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake couple days ago and they looked fine to me, though I am playing in borderless mode for whatever that's worth. |
I will post screenshot in the week. You'll tell me if i have messed up something. |
Mind posting your MGSHDFix.log file too? |
@MasterDarkseid 3 weeks later lol |
Issue Summary: The games looks more pixated then previous release.
In the past the game looked crisp and clean. However since the new patch and the new pre-release patch the game doesn't look crisp or clean anymore. Is that normal or is there anything to change in the patch?
MGSHDFix & Game Version Numbers: 2.3 pre-release / 2.0.0
MGS2 is the only game i haven't tested but i presume the game have the same issue then the others.
Reproduction:
Install the patch... remove the D3d11.dll file. Set up your preference (resolution , mouse sensitivity, etc...) then look at the text and textures. they will look more pixalated then post 2.0.0 patch which should be the opposite. If anything it should look sharper.
Question
So is it normal or did i mess up anything?
