Bug: Play works but then pause not available?

The widget appears to work for most part with play, prev, next....but once I've clicked play I do not have the option to pause the music..clicking play again does nothing...I have to open the music app or pause it using it's media notification. It's also not showing the name or any info on the song....it is an older version of Pandora so maybe that's the problem. Will experiement with some other music players.
