The current editor does everything it should. It even works on mobile! Even though, there are some improvements we want to make:

respect the format of the original image (currently is getting cropped into a fixed format)
export the comic structure (background image and speech bubbles)
display larger buttons on touch devices

Additional considerations:

pick / make background image before opening the editor
double click / tap a speech balloon to edit its text
zoom (+ move) the background image
