This potentially could cause issues when adding the game and backing up the game.

Ideally games should not show in the app until they have fully installed. Or games cannot be added until fully installed.

This happened to me with Cyberpunk 2077 from Epic Games.

For Steam we can definitely do this, they put the current status of the game (downloading, needs update, installed) in their files. The other stores would require some investigating.
