Describe the bug
I tried to start up Walltaker in Linux but after setting everything up, it changes the wallpaper to the link's image for a second before switching to a completely blue background. I am running a brand new install of Ubuntu 22.04

To Reproduce
(On Ubuntu 22.04)

  • Install dependencies
  • Set up walltaker.toml as desired
  • Run walltaker-linux-amd64
  • Turns wallpaper correctly for a second before changing it to a blue background

Expected behavior
Change wallpaper to currently set image on link

Screenshots

Desktop:

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
  • Browser: Firefox
  • Walltaker Version: v2.0.3

Additional context
This may just be an issue with the latest version of Ubuntu, which is quite new, I'm planning on installing 20.04 anyway, but it may be worth looking into

Looked into it, it doesn't look to be an issue with the client itself, rather the wallpaper library the client is using
reujab/wallpaper#19
Until the issue is fixed with the library the client will not work in GNOME or LXDE
