Smoothing help please

Hello,

I'm implementing a similar project (clearwater/SwitecX25#15) to yours and while I have most of it working, I'm experiencing a few problems with smoothing the Switec output which you seem to have solved.

I'll be very grateful if you could provide more details or an explanation of your smoothing function please?
