How would you guys feel about taking this project up a notch and integrating AdminLTE?

I think we have a good starting point. One idea could be to click on a host from the dashboard and then being taken to an AdminLTE page with the host details, alerts, counters and graphs...

Seems really neat. I'm not actively developing on this right now - have way too much stuff on my plate - but I'd happily accept a pull request.
