Hello, I have fresh install of WinXP with SP3 on a Virtual machine. When I try to run the fallout-ce.exe, i get the following error "fallout-ce.exe is not a valid win32 application." I tried both version 1.0 and 1.1 and same error as well as the x64 and x86 (even though i know it's a 32bit system).
Are there some other pre-req installations needed for it to run, like .net or something?
I installed Fallout 1 from the CD ISO and it installed fine, but the mouse it totally unusable. Was really hoping to get this fallout-ce.exe working. I already tried rebooting, tried Compatibility mode with Win95 and Win98. Tried running as admin. All have same error.
Thanks for any tips.
