hi @p- , is there any plan to support importing existing eclipse keymap profile (in csv format)? It would be a great feature for migrated eclipse users.

Hi @CsCherrYY
I suppose you are talking about the use case where Eclipse users configured non-default keybindings?
Currently no such feature is planned. However, if you'd like to work on that: feel free 😉

@p- Thanks for the reply. I'm from VS Code Java team and I'm working on improving the experience of users who migrated from other IDEs, like Eclipse. The keybinding would be a great entry here, that's why I create this issue. IMO, there are two enhancements we can do about the keybinding part.

So I plan to create serval PRs to fix or support the current keymaps. Would you take some time reviewing? or give any feedback on our tracking table, or any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @CsCherrYY

Thanks for your work!
At first I think it would be more important to improve the existing keymap (your second point).

Would you take some time reviewing?

Yes I will review them, but I can't say in what time frame.
