Extend-network.sh no longer appears to work

Hey, I realise that this project is a little old now, but this extended network application is exactly what I need so I'm very keen to make this work! I'm running into some issues early on with the extend-network.sh script - specifically config_block.pb is NOT_FOUND. Could I ask that you run these script to confirm it still works and perhaps point me in the right direction? Thank you!
