Basic filters in sidebar?

I know that you can set the resource filters to remain open after a filter has been applied, but it stays open in a modal window. Is it possible to add filters to a sidebar? So that the filters don't overlay the resource content.

Not right now, no. We are thinking abut displaying the dynamic filters (not basic filters) like that.
Can you speak more about that feature?
Do you use one or multiple filters?
Having them visible would be something that you'd use on a per-resource basis or globally?
Anything else we should know about?

Hey, Adrian thanks for the reply.

Some of our larger data resources have as many as 12 filters (Yikes!). For those resources we're keeping the filter modal open just for the sake of convenience of the end user to see which filters have been applied without having to open the filters again. In those cases the filters overlay the table content, and many times the column that the filter was applied to.

On the flip side, we also have much smaller data resources that only need a single filter. For those, the dynamic filter seems a bit overkill.

As for site-wide vs. per resource. We're using the filters per resource. We have multiple teams that only need to (and in some cases, should only) access certain resources that we manage through access policies.
