sudo make install when rebuilding st closes all running instances of st #158

I think this started happening after #154 in which we reworked the newterm logic to use /proc/exe/self. This bug is pretty dangerous since all work is lost the moment when the st binary is overwritten.

This should be related to the presumed kernel issue after upgrading to 6.11.2.

I believe the cp command has been changed to behave differently when passing the -f flag which should have addressed this issue.
