Help with configuring the "global" config file to use resources in my cluster

We have an HPC environment and I have installed "Master of Pores" as a singularity image but looking at the config file I can make changes to how resources will get assigned in my cluster but I needed some help/guidance on which parameters to change within that file so that when IU submit my jobs on the cluster it effeciently uses the available resource. WE have various queues as well including a bigmemq, gpuq and a defq (defaultq).
Can you please help guide me.
