Some clear connections connections/similarities with our ideas about e.g. on data rich docs and having markdown blocks for data rendering eg. sql blocks.

They basically do data fetching and then pass the data to the chart component. In our case, i think data fetcher is within the chart component:

Maybe we can think how do we want to do this for CKAN Datastore data, e.g., if we need to do data fetching and processing before passing data to Chart component.

As far as I know, Evidence will pull the data at "compile" time and embed it into the Vega charts. The user deploys a static website with the data within it.
