Docspell is not seeing and auto-ingesting files from the docs dir

Description:
I've deployed Docspell using the default docker-compose.yml file and placed a bunch of .txt files in the docs directory (the default subdir of the docker-compose directory) for automatic ingestion. Docspell does not seem to detect those files and nothing happens. If I manually upload a file using the WebUI, it works fine. If I enter the dsc docker, I can see the /opt/docs just fine and it has the documents I placed there.

Am I missing an obvious step to get this working?

• Files should be added to docspell automatically

Actual results:

• Nothing happens
