Describe the feature
Currently, there are plans to allow organizations to use fCC to host classroom mode. This means there needs to be a degree of separation between different schools, orgs, etc. Therefore we need to create that degree of separation.

We can think of organizations as a container for all teachers and students inside of an organization. There will be an administrator account (on joining) created by the org and then they will be allowed to manage their users as they see fit.

There will be multiple steps to this and they will be completed in the following order, this issue is only for organizations, the rest of the steps will have their own issues:

  1. Organizations
  2. Teachers/Instructors
  3. Students

Organizations will be the building block to our degree of separation, therefore they will be implemented first. Once organizations are available and can be created, teachers will be allowed to join their organizations. Once that is available, they can create classrooms that their students can join.

This issue will be tied to a project where we will have all of our new onboarding experiences and therefore is open to contributors despite being assigned to me.

The project in question is being tracked internally (fCC) however, I have made a copy and will attempt to keep it updated as we make progress. You can view it here
