The vision of DISC2017 is larger in scope than the single-day course traditionally offered by the seg.

This vision: which includes

the development of a community,
capturing problems and
raising the computational level of geophysics

needs to be elevated on the site. We also need to point to resources and ways for people to get involved in the community we are building.
