Can this guide be updated reflecting the lack of self-monitoring in loki chart ?

The loki chart ships with self-monitoring features, including dashboards. These are useful for monitoring the health of the new cluster as it spins up.

The issue I'm having is that this doc ask to exclude canary|read|write components from promtail/agent but with no self-monitoring including what's the recommended way to monitor them ?
