P1P wont connect, X1C works fine #254

A while back i got my X1C and connected it to Home Assistant without issues, and it has been working fine.

Now i also have a P1P, and i cant get it to connect using the Cloud. In LAN mode it works fine?

I have tried enabling/disabling LAN mode.

Turning the printer on and off

Resetting my bambu cloud password

What am i missing?

While it should connect fine and if you can grab logs I might be able to work out why it’s not, but you can connect locally even when the printer is in cloud mode. The only reason to connect using Bambu cloud is if you have something else connecting locally as the P1P currently can only handle a single local connection correctly due to a firmware bug.

Note that 2FA isn’t supported currently (and may never be since I’ll have to somehow successfully reverse engineer the right handshake and I don’t have a lot of confidence I’ll pull that off).

Hmm i could have sworn i got some HTTP 400 error yesterday. Now all i get in the logs is:

@AdrianGarside wondering if there's a bug somewhere. Result code 5 means disconnected due to authorised credentials

@FlyingHippo are you positive your access code is correct for the p1p?

@greghesp I just double checked:

Put the printer back into LAN mode, and it connects fine using serial number and passcode from printer
Put it back into Cloud mode, copy/pasted the serial number i used before. (cloud mode doesnt prompt for passcode from printer)
Logged out of the Bambu Handy app, succesfully logged back in
Copy/pasted the email/password into the Login prompt in "Bambu Cloud Connection" in HA.
Same result :(

Glad you got it sorted. Yeah 1.1.2 is super old :). In this case Bambu started rejecting connections with an auth token if you didn’t provide the correct internal Bambu user ID for the account as the username. Which luckily is part of the auth token and so can just be pulled out.
