I use the US International layout with dead keys, because I regularly type both in programming languages (which work best on US layouts due to easy access to {, $, etc), English, Danish, and assorted other languages with various diacritics. This means, in particular, that I type double-quote by pressing the double-quote key followed by a space (" a, for instance, yields ä, and ' a yields á).
On the "Try it" REPL on haskell.org, my double quote key just doesn't do anything, so I can't follow the tutorial or enter any other string.
This is on both Firefox and Chrome on Fedora 36, running under GNOME.

I can confirm that I can reproduce this behaviour.
The difficulty in getting this fixed is that there is no active maintainer for this functionality. In fact, I don't know of anyone who knows how it works.
