Entity normalization

Hi,
I wanted to ask if HUNER assigns an ID (e.g. ENTREZ or UniProt ID to genes) to the identified entities or whether it only gives the found term and offsets?

Hey Lea,

thanks for your interest in HUNER. At the moment, HUNER doesn't perform entity normalisation. That is, its output are only the spans and types of the recognised entities without any link to databases.
