How to stickify pages?

Seems it can stickify posts and collections, what about pages? I didn't find any mention of that in the docs.
Also, stickify collection doesn't seem to be working as described in the docs.

I'd like this post to be home page for a collection that is stickified. For example, this is the home page of an existing collection that doesn't show up on the landing page. I'm a complete noob when it comes to front end, and don't have the skills or interest to customize the theme.
