Scale selection might be a confusing thing to name this as scales already exist (as in, the note structure for songs).

As for the scaling thing, I reckon note selections in general could be improved a lot, maybe akin to what FL Studio does where you can edit the duration/volumes of multiple notes simultaneously so long they exist in the selection. Not sure how useful scaling note placement in these selections would be vs. just manually placing each note, but I ain't one to judge much on that.

there have been times when i needed to speed up or slow down the notes like that...

i did it by hand

usually I open a new tab, copy the notes from the original BeepBox project, paste them into the new project, use the scaling feature, and then copy the new notes back to the original project

it's not the most elegant way to do it, but it works
