Method works only without login *(inside VM) #16
Comments
Could be something missing in the registry of the Windows VM, didn't know ppl use Samsung Notes in a VM. |
I'm experiencing the same. Samsung notes plus Samsung account inside Parallels on MacBook Air M1. Apps launch and if I use "login with QR code" it even says it logged in from my phone but, in Windows I get the same as above. |
Did you find solution? |
I just posted an issue about this.... didn't realize there was already one. I'm having the same issue with Samsung account. I too have a windows machine running as a VM in parallels on a mac. Do we need to somehow set the machine serial number to a specific length? |
I don't have the complete answer but apparently it is possible to change the serial of the virtual machine. All we need now is a dummy serial number and we're good to go I think... |
I was using UTM to run windows and i have installed it using store, exec the bat but not able login ( which makes the app non useable :( ) Anyone have luck with trying serial number? Screen.Recording.2024-06-30.at.22.54.11.mov |
As title says, this mehod only works when you're trying using Samsung Apps without login apparentely.
In fact, there is a problem with login at the time I'm writing this, preventing users from using their Samsung Accounts.
When clicking login, Samsung respond with "Error 500: Server error A. The length of a deviceSerialNumberText is invalid."
Step to reproduce:
winget install "Samsung Notes"
;Am I missing something that prevent me from loggin in?
