Hi, @msoeken , I am wondering that this line:

mockturtle/include/mockturtle/algorithms/cut_rewriting.hpp

Line 457 in f2396ec

int32_t best_gain{ -1 };

should be out of the cut iteration loop, then it could be updated each time a better gain value showed up?

Or it will remain as -1 in each iteration.
