Apps like nomweather, countdowntimer, mihphoto are great... but only for horizontal screen orientation. In vertical orientation they are unusable or have less usability because all the graphic elements appear out of place.
For example, in the case of countdowntimer, the timer and buttons should adapt to the size of the screen.
