It's not clear what this module does, README is needed

The README of this project should clearly explain what this composer plugin does.
And also compare it to composer v2's canonical repository feature which does almost the same.

So users understand why Adobe strongly recommends them to use this composer plugin.

Would still be nice if it could specify exactly what it does different/better than composer's v2 canonical repository feature, that info is still missing at the moment.
