For some reason the permissions I set for any application don't get saved. I'm currently using cm10.1 build 20130117 with the openpdroid patch from auto_patcher 2.5.2 on a Galaxy S2 i9100 international.

Thanks.
If you could provide a Logcat for the period when you try to save the permissions, that would be great. Also, could you confirm that if you had PDroid 2.0 App installed prior to installing PDroid Manager, you uninstalled PDroid 2.0 App before installing PDroid Manager.

Hey again,

I had Pdroid installed before on cm 9. But with upgrading to 10.1 I uninstalled it because back then there wasn't a patch.

Your post, though, pointed me in the right direction.
This problem is resolved by:

  1. Uninstalling the Pdroid Manager apk
  2. Deleting:
    2.1 /data/system/privacy.db
    2.2 /data/system/privacy.db-journal
    2.3 /data/system/privacy/
    3.Reboot
  3. Install the Pdroid Manager apk

Everything works fine now.

Thanks for the update. I'll leave this open as a reminder that I need to add better handling of problems when saving (basically to try to provide feedback to the user if something 'wrong' is detected).
