Docker Code Execution Capability in Semantic Kernel

Does Semantic Kernel provide Docker code execution functionality similar to AutoGen? If not, are there plans to implement this feature in the future?

Hi @anu43, thanks for your question. In SK, we have a few options to run code safely, similar to what AutoGen provides:

• You may use our Azure Container Apps Dynamic Sessions Plugin in either Python or C#. Here's the Python example: https://github.com/microsoft/semantic-kernel/tree/main/python/semantic_kernel/core_plugins/sessions_python_tool. With this Azure resource, one can run code safely in a sandboxed Python environment.
• You may use an (Azure)OpenAIAssistantAgent that built on top of OpenAI's Assistant v2 APIs and allows for safe code interpreter use: https://github.com/microsoft/semantic-kernel/blob/main/python/samples/getting_started_with_agents/step9_assistant_tool_code_interpreter.py
