There's a bug inlaunch.json that caused Lauch Tests keeps waiting for npm run compile endlessly.
I have found the root cause and will create a PR to fix it.

Hi @ross-p-smith I'm taking over this extension, which might be good news to you. I'm still very new to this extension, so please be patient. Feel free to create new issues for your feedback / requests to this repo. Of course we need to prioritize all the items, but I'm happy to hear more voice from you.
