Create a way to change the default app that opens a link.

I would like to be able to change the way certain links are opened with certain apps, most importantly the mailto link, to Gmail, or some other provider. I think that it would be a good condition, but I also think that it goes against the philosophy of this browser, which is to be minimalist. What do you think?
