Switch to Exploration Mode upon death

If you have death turned on, and you die while in Combat Mode, you stay in Combat Mode. This means that in order to bring up the game menu, you first have to manually switch to Exploration Mode, which caused me confusion initially. It would be great if this could happen automatically upon death.
