I've noticed something with DoomLauncher as of late.

I'm not sure if it has always done this, but after launching a WAD and then quitting that source port, DoomLauncher will sort of freeze for second before being responsive again.

The above hasn't bothered me too much, but now it also seems to remove the icon from the application (at least on the Windows 11 dock) once responsiveness comes back.

This is what the dock looks like for me after quitting a source port and coming back to DoomLauncher (icon second to right):

It's likely caused by the step when it's searching for new images/saves/etc after the source port exits. Does it happen with any source port? If you add a new clean source port and launch that does this still happen on exit?

Oh interesting. It seems to be caused after playing an unknown source port. In my case, for the last 6 months, that's been Nyan Doom.

The small freeze and the icon changing seem to be the result of that. Doesn't seem to happen with ports that have the "Save Statistics" checkbox available.
