I'm using opentelemetry-collector-contrib v0.29.0 and prometheus address has been configured via
--metrics-addrflag ofotelcontribcol.otelcontribcol --metrics-addr=0.0.0.0:8888I would like to know if there is any option to configure the sampling rate and/or select the required metrics. I would also like to know if there is any configuration to reduce the number of data points.
Appreciate any help or suggestions.
