opentelemetry-python pip package doesn't work

Hey, I just tried https://open-telemetry.github.io/opentelemetry-python/getting-started.html with 1.12.0rc2. It gave bunch of errors.

for example, PushController doesn't seem to exist anymore.

any ideas?

We do not use those docs anymore. Here is the updated location for documentation: https://opentelemetry.io/docs/instrumentation/python/getting-started/

I think the unused docs need to be taken down then to not cause confusion.

I just found this after wasting a lot of time trying to get the python getting started stuff working based on what google returns as your docs. Please take down the old docs.
