I have a problem when trying to notify the update of a document, in the document insertion tab I select the document to update, but when I select "Notify users" and select a user or a role to notify, the "Send" button is disabled and can't update.

You must set text in the notification message field otherwise the upload button will not be enabled. The text message to be sent is mandatory, the internal comment is optional.

Tell us if that solved the issue.

I have encountered the same issue. I have entered the content, but when I select 'Users', the button becomes unclickable. However, when I select 'Roles', it works. Had this issue been solved?

To make it work well, the user needs to type words in the notification field first, and then choose the "users" to whom they would like to send the mail. After this, the "upload" button will not be disabled.

In the initial screenshot the issue was because you have to write some text in the "Notification message" textarea -> because can not be sent an empty message to the user.
