nilup update on M1 replaces SDK and self with non-executable binaries (malformed code signatures?)

None of the SDK binaries are executable now — they immediately get killed.

Kernel log suggests the problem is related to code signing:

What is the best way to rescue this?

Unfortunately I do not have the nilup version as I did not expect this to happen.

I have reinstalled from scratch by moving ~/.nilup and using https://nilup.nilogy.xyz/install.sh.

The newly installed version works so this looks like an update-specific issue.
