Mobile dispatch for tours

What do we want in mobile dispatch for tours?

For now there is nothing about tours in the mobile dispatch. So when there are tours; you see all the tasks and you can move them the way you want. If you start moving tasks around it will break the web dispatch somehow (I dont know exactly, you can try :p)

so which feature(s) do you want for tour management on the smartphone app?

I was thinking about it, and I thought we could do sthg very simple:

• tour information is displayed on task
• you can tap on an icon (lock?) to free the task from the tour (with confirmation)
• it remove the task from the tour + move it outside the tour (so before or after the tour)
• and then you continue your normal way of moving tasks around

I think it is enough for now?

From my point of view, the question is more about what do we want : a real mobile dispatching possibility or an other simplified mobile dispatch feature as you propose ?

What you propose is the minimum it should be but it still doesn't replace the needs of doing stuff on a computer somehow.

For now, you can only assign tasks but nothing else (really not enough)
First, we need to be able to move tasks upon others.
We need to be able to unassign these
We need to be able to create new tasks for existing shop/client and be able to cancel these if needed (error or so)
Making tours on a phone is perhaps not necessary so what you propose is perfect : being able to modifiy existing tours by unlocking tasks from a tour but if we do so, is it not possible to put new tasks in a tour ? (existing one or created one)
Finally, If we are thinking about dispatching, we also need to modifiy a task : time of dropoff/pickup, adding a comment for the delivery, changing the address or other infos like phone number, person of contact, etc. like we can do on the web dispatch
