I have installed espeak-ng 1.51 and would like to use it with MRBOLA. I have installed MBROLA but have not been able to get espeak-ng to use the MBROLA voices. It seems like some of the instructions at this webpage may not apply to the version I installed: https://github.com/espeak-ng/espeak-ng/blob/master/docs/mbrola.md. Specifically, the instructions reference a C:/Program Files/eSpeak/espeak-ng-data/mbrola folder but I do not see that folder in my installation. The instructions also reference a phoneme translation folder called espeak-ng-data/mbrola_ph that I cannot seem to find.
I noticed in the change log that MBROLA code for voices, phoneme translation etc. was moved in version 1.49 to libespeak-ng. And my version of espeak-ng does have a dynamic link library called libespeak-ng, but I am not sure how to use it. Perhaps this has something to do with my confusion?
I appreciate any advice.
