Electronplayer not opening ubuntu 21.04.

I am using ubuntu 21.04 and i just install electronplayer but it is not opeing so i tried open it with terminal by typing simply electronplayer but it giver me error gtk-warning **: 01:10:18.304: cannot open display: :0 and if i do sudo electronplayer mkdir: cannot create directory '/run/user/0': Permission denied

Same here. On 21.04

Same problem on Ubuntu 21.10 with the snap version. AppImage works fine though.

It dosn't work on wayland desktop. But it works fine on X11.
Maybe is an error related with wayland settings.
