Crashes after "Sender VIF was down" in pfSense #86

I've been having issues where the IGMP Proxy service in pfSense crashes periodically. If I make any configuration change it comes back no problem, presumably because it simply restarts the service.

The error in the log is: "Sender VIF was down", which I've tracked to igmp.c line 325. It seems that whenever this error is logged, the service stops working altogether. Is there any way to make it stay alive after such an error? I'm not sure yet what exactly causes the sendto call to fail, but whatever it is it must be temporary and short-lived because everything else works fine.

Thanks!

Maybe the same issue on Opnsense 22.7.11 (with os-igmp-proxy 1.5_2)
Unfortunately, I am trying in vain to get a Telekom Reveicer (German MagentaTV) to run.

If more information is needed please let me know.
Briefly about the setup: Vigor Modem ---(PPPOE)----> Opnsense ----> Reveiver
VLAN7 is handled by the Opnsene.

Is there possibly a workaround??

Error in Opnsense Log: Sender VIF was down.; Errno(50): Network is down

Edit

An error was found that is not due to the IGMP-Proxy.
