I'm still considering this idea. The intention of the project is really to have individual interlinked pages for each function or operation. I'm not really sure I like seeing so much information at one time in that context.

I understand - and agree to the sense you describe.

And it's also nice to have multiple and alternative ways of
viewing/slicing/dicing that content.

So I could see a separate folder with varies viewing scripts. One script
might highlight only files updated in the last three months. Another might
show where each function has been used in other functions.

The primary access would be through the vehicle you describe. The existence
of other viewing types would help with specialty uses as well as being a
demo of how flexible your data is when hosted on GitHub and accessible via
the GitHub API.
